I was going through some of my craft things this morning and found these two cards. I had started them last year, and never finished them. So, I sat down this morning and did so. Back when I started these cards, I was trying to come up with some for men ... thus the browns. Thank you for looking.

Here are a few of my newest needle tatting projects. I do both needle tatting and shuttle tatting. I find both to be a lot of fun, and very enjoyable.

Watercolor painting ...

As well as learning tatting, I am also teaching myself watercolor painting. Here is one of my most recent attempts. I have been painting with acrylics for over 20 years, but I am finding watercolors to be a real challenge. Due to the water content, it has a mind of its own! I am really enjoying this new medium.

Shuttle Tatted Bookmark

I have only been tatting for three weeks now. I saw an ad in the paper for a class that was being taught. Tatting was something that had always facinated me, but I never dreamed I would ever learn how to do it ... I was wrong! Here is my first completed tatting project, a bookmark. It isn't perfect, but I am so excited about having actually learned to tat! I really love learning craft techniques from long ago times.
